Day 1

Arrival in Seoul

Arrival at Incheon International Airport
Transfer to hotel – check-in and rest
Evening: Orientation & Welcome Mass.
Overnight in Seoul

Day 2

Seoul – The Heart of Faith


Morning Mass at Myeongdong Cathedral (Seoul’s iconic Catholic cathedral)
Visit Jeoldusan Martyrs’ Shrine – site of persecution during the 1866 Byeong-in persecution
Korean Catholic History Museum
Lunch with traditional Korean cuisine
Visit the Yakhyeon Catholic Church – the first Western-style church in Korea
Overnight in Seoul

Day 3

Gwangju & Haemi Martyrs’ Shrine


Travel to Haemi Fortress – home to Haemi Martyrs’ Shrine, a place where 2,000 Catholics were martyred
Celebrate Mass at the Haemi Shrine Chapel
Spiritual reflection time on the grounds
Drive to Gwangju – evening rest and group sharing
Overnight in Gwangju or Daejeon area

Day 4

Solmoe & Dangjin


Visit Solmoe Shrine – birthplace of Korea’s first priest, St. Andrew Kim Taegon
Tour the museum and walk the peaceful pilgrimage trail
Celebrate outdoor Mass at Solmoe Hill
Continue to Dangjin to visit Naepo Catholic Martyrs’ Shrine
Return to Seoul
Overnight in Seoul

Day 5

Korean Culture & Faith

Morning visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace – discover Korea’s royal history
Stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village
Lunch in Insadong – a taste of traditional Korean street food
Visit Catholic University of Korea – meet local Catholic youth (optional cultural exchange)
Free evening or optional Han River night cruise
Overnight in Seoul

Day 6

Pilgrim’s Retreat & Farewell


Morning retreat-style prayer & reflection session
Visit Seosomun Shrine History Museum – underground museum of faith and martyrdom
Celebrate closing Mass with the Latin American group and local Korean Catholics
Group sharing session & farewell dinner
Overnight in Seoul

Day 7

Departure


Breakfast and check-out
Transfer to Incheon Airport
